Art by the Sea is an Auckland art gallery that specialises in high-end and affordable original art by New Zealand artists including paintings, sculptures, photography, multimedia, and contemporary art. Formerly a Devonport art gallery, we are now located in Takapuna. We hold solo art exhibitions and group shows every four to six weeks with an artist talk and opening usually on the Saturday.
The gallery is a business but it is also a communal space that draws in residents and travellers alike seeking a little time-out and inspiration away from the chaos of today. We are kaitiaki (guardians) of this space. And this space provides manaakitanga (respect, support, and hospitality) to all who visit it.
